Ivan J. Houston, “Black Warriors”, UCLA

The UCLA Library Associates Reading Series presents Ivan J. Houston, discussing his recent book “Black Warriors: The Buffalo Soldiers of World War II.” The book is based on Mr. Houstons experiences in World War IIs first all-black combat infantry regiment, the 370th of the segretated 92nd Infantry Division, also know as the Buffalo Soldiers, on which Spike Lees film, Miracle at St. Anna, was based. The session was presented at the Young Research Library on December 3rd, 2009
